The Initial Evaluation
While looking at our services and the conditions we treat, it may be the case that you are not sure which services you need or if we treat exactly what you’re experiencing. That’s why we always start with an initial evaluation to learn about you, your history and what issue(s) may be bringing you to Summit. During your initial evaluation, we discuss what kind of plan of care would work optimally for you - and often times, that includes a blending of all the different services that we offer.
Clients come through our doors with all kinds of different conditions. Some clients have a simple ankle sprain, some have been dealing with chronic pain for years. Some clients are fresh out of surgery and others don’t have any pain at all but feel they may be at risk of falling. During the initial assessment, after a full evaluation, we will map out a plan with you that will work best for your specific issue(s). You may, for example, benefit from a focus on manual therapy initially or you may not need any at all. You may benefit from a challenging therapeutic exercise program + manual therapy, with a home program focusing on improving your mobility.
Since every individual has their own history and their own goals, every program is individualized to you and this all begins during your initial assessment.
We look forward to learning more about you and finding out how we can be helpful in your journey.
Sincerely,
Drs. Chapman, Sanabrais and Jacob
